Who Am I This Time?

(& Other Conundrums of Love)

Written by Aaron Posner

Adapted from stories by Kurt Vonnegut

Directed by Martina Bonolis

October 11th - October 28th, 2018

@ The Chain Theatre

312 West 36th Street, 4th Floor

The subject of this play is love—pure and complicated. Set on the stage of The Mineola Mask & Wig Club in 1962 ("the finest community theatre on Long Island!"), three early masterpieces by Kurt Vonnegut (Long Walk to Forever, Who am I This Time? and Go Back to Your Precious Wife and Son) are sewn together into a seamless evening of hilarity and humanity. With some theatrical magic, a bit of small town know-how, and Vonnegut's singular wit and insight into human foibles, this is a smart, delightful, and magical remembrance for anyone who’s ever been in, out, or tossed around and back again by love.

Featuring: Zachary Gamble, Meghan Ginley, Robin Johnson, Kent Koren,

Franco Pedicini, Isabel Shill, Stephen Zuccaro.

Six Characters in Search of an Author

By Luigi Pirandello
Adapted by the Wise Fish Theater Collective

Six characters enter a theater...and they won't leave.

In this modern, lighthearted adaptation of Luigi Pirandello's classic work, the heart and soul of theater confronts its logistics and bottom lines, asking us to reconsider the timeless question: does art imitate life, or does life imitate art?

Or, more importantly, is this whole art thing a sham to begin with

The Human Incubator

A Speculative Feminist Sci-Fi Girl-Power Musical!
By Elinor + Drew Vanderburg

In a world in which humans lay eggs, one woman does things the old fashioned way.

Posey Powers, an employee at the elite adoption breeding firm, GenEgg, lays eggs better than anyone. But when she fails to deliver her monthly deposit, Posey is fired and forced to contend with an unprecedented physical perversion, the likes of which her world has never seen: carrying a child INSIDE of her actual BELLY! Posey must grapple with her society’s views on childbearing, contraception, perfection, freedom, and the concept of family, while society reckons with the formidable human incubator herself.
